Planes of Fame Air Museum has a 50+-year history of providing aviation and military vehicles for film industry and photo shoot projects. We offer over 40 flying vintage aircraft for air-to-air work, some of which are the only flying examples of their type in the world, and over 100 aircraft that can be used as background props or close-up ‘in the cockpit’ shots. Planes of Fame Air Museum is home to a host of aircraft available for your Airshow as either static displays or flying demonstrations. We offer many exciting Navy aircraft to choose from including the North American SNJ-5 Texan, Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless dive-bomber (one of two aircraft flying in the world), GM TBM-3 Avenger and (ever a crowd favorite) the Vought F4U-1A Corsair! In 1963 Cessna modified an existing T-37 trainer into a prototype YA-37 A. The standard airframe was fitted with more powerful engines and hard points on the wings for weapons.
